1). Profess (Verb)
Definition: claim, often falsely, that one has (a quality or feeling).
Synonyms: declare, announce, proclaim, assert, state, affirm, avow, maintain, protest, aver
Antonyms: conceal, deny, disavow, disown, dispute, refuse
Usage: he had professed his love for her only to walk away
2). Celibate (Adjective)
Definition: abstaining from marriage, typically for religious reasons.
