1) Restrain (Adjective) – रोक देना या नियंत्रित करना

Meaning: Characterized by reserve or moderation; unemotional or dispassionate.

Synonyms: Controlled, Steady, Phlegmatic, Unemotional

Antonyms: Immoderate, Emotional

Usage: Trump was restrained in his State of the Union address, but did nothing to bridge the divide.

 

2) Furlough (Verb) — थोड़े दिन की छुट्टी देना

Meaning: Grant leave of absence to.

7) Fraternize (Verb) — भाईचारा करना

Meaning: Associate or form a friendship with someone, especially when one is not supposed to.

Antonyms: Disagree, Ignore

Usage: She ignored Elisabeth’s warning glare against fraternizing with the enemy.

 

8) Ineluctable (Adjective) — अनिवार्य

Meaning: Unable to be resisted or avoided; inescapable.

Synonyms: Certain, Ineludible, Inescapable, Inevitable

Antonyms: Avoidable, Evadable, Uncertain, Unsure

9) Clog (Verb) — रोकना

Meaning: Block or become blocked with an accumulation of thick, wet matter.

Meaning: A valuable object that has belonged to a family for several generations.
