1) Resilience (Noun)  लचीलाता

Definition: The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.

Synonyms: Flexibility, Pliability, Suppleness, Plasticity, Elasticity, Springiness, Spring, Give

Antonyms: Rigidity, Fragility, Vulnerability, Weakness

Usage: Coastal districts must continue to strengthen resilience against extreme weather events.

 

2) Catastrophic (Adjective) — विपत्तिपूर्ण

Definition: Involving or causing sudden great damage or suffering.

Synonyms: Disastrous, Calamitous, Cataclysmic, Ruinous

Antonyms: Fortunate, Beneficial

Usage: The vulnerability of the car to vandalism when it’s parked on the street
