1) Truce (Noun) युद्धविराम संधि

Definition: An agreement between enemies or opponents to stop fighting or arguing for a certain time.

Synonyms: Ceasefire, Armistice Respite, Lull, Moratorium

Antonyms: Fighting, Hostilities

Usage: The U.S. and Chinese Presidents, Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, agreed to a 90-day truce.

 

2) Amicable (Adjective) मैत्रीपूर्ण

Definition: Characterized by friendliness and absence of discord.

Synonyms: Friendly, Good-natured, Cordial, Civil, Courteous

Antonyms: Unfriendly, Hostile

Usage: The two countries will try to find an amicable solution to the various problems plaguing bilateral trade relations.

 

3) Plague (Verb) निरंतर परेशानी

Definition: Cause continual trouble or distress to.

Definition: Collapse or cause to collapse violently inwards.

7) Aftermath (Noun) – परिणाम

Definition: a condition or occurrence traceable to a cause

Usage: The surgery was successful, but she now had to deal with its aftermath: a huge bill.

 

8) Semblance (Noun) – समानता

Definition: The outward appearance or apparent form of something, especially when the reality is different.

Synonyms: Charade, Disguise, Masquerade, Playacting

Antonyms: Bluntness, Candidness, Candor, Directness

Usage: She tried to force her thoughts back into some semblance of order.

 

9) Reiterate (Verb)  बार बार दुहराना

Definition: To state or do over again or repeatedly sometimes with wearying effect
