Meaning: having or showing dogged determination not to change one’s attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good arguments or reasons to do so.

Synonyms: obstinate, stubborn as a mule, mulish

Antonyms: compliant, docile

Usage: “a stubborn refusal to learn from experience”

 

2) Altercation (Noun)तकरार

Meaning: a noisy argument or disagreement, especially in public.

Synonyms: argument, quarrel, squabbl

Antonyms: accord, agreement, calm

Usage: “I had an altercation with the ticket collector”

 

3) Disruptive (Adjective)विघटनकारी

Meaning: causing or tending to cause disruption.

4) Gallows (Noun)फांसी का तख़्ता

Meaning: execution by hanging.

Meaning: famous or well known, typically for some bad quality or deed.

9) Crude (Adjective) अशोधित या कच्चा  

Meaning: in a natural or raw state; not yet processed or refined.

Synonyms: unrefined, unpurified, unprocessed

Antonyms: refined

Usage: “crude oil”

 

10) Pernicious (Adjective)विघातक

Meaning: having a harmful effect, especially in a gradual or subtle way.

Synonyms: harmful, damaging, destructive

Antonyms: beneficial, benign, favourable

Usage: “the pernicious influences of the mass media”
