UGC NET 2018 Apply onlineÂ
Dear Aspirants, UGC NET exams commenced on 09th Dec 2018. So the UGC NET applications are invited from the eligible candidates. Application link is active from 01st Sep 2018 to 30th Sep 2018. Candidates are requested to check habitually on our web portal to know the recent updates from UGC NET 2018. UGC NET 2018 | Eligibility Criteria
UGC NET Exam 2018 – Educational Qualification:
- Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC can apply for UGC NET 2018
- In Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.
- The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
UGC NET 2018 – Age Limit:
- Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 30 years as on 01.07.2018.
- Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor.
- Age relaxation available, So please refer the official notification in the below section
UGC NET Exam – Selection Process:
- Examination shall only be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT)
UGC NET – Examination Fee:
- General Category: Rs. 800/-
- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer): Rs. 400/-
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: Rs.200/-
UGC NET – Payment Fee:
Candidates can online pay online, follow the instructions given below
- The candidates may pay the examination fee either by credit/ debit card or through e- challan generated during the online filling of the application form.
- Service Charges may applicable
- If the Examination fee is paid by credit/debit card and status is not OK, it means the transaction is failed
- And the amount will be refunded to concerned credit/debit card within a week. Such candidates have to pay the fee once again.
- Complete the payment
- Take a print of the payment receipt for further reference.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2018 Apply Online
- Eligible candidates can apply only through online mode by visiting the official website of nta.ac.in.
- Find the Latest Information from the “Latest” Tab displayed in the right hand side of the Homepage.
- Click on the desired notification and download the “Information Bulletin” from the loaded page.
- Read the information carefully and ensure the eligibility criteria to apply for the desired UGC NET Exam 2018.
- And now click on the “Apply for UGC-NET December – 2018” to proceed with UGC Net 2018 Apply Online.
- After successful registration re-log in using the Application Number, Password and the Security Pin.
- Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature.
- Make Payment through credit/debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application
- Take a print of the payment receipt for further reference.
- The candidates are required to bring a photo identity card along with their printout of online admission card on the day of examination for UGC NET 2018.
