Here we present the eligibility criteria details of UPPCL JE Recruitment 2020. The eligibility factors are,
- Age
- Educational Qualification
Age:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2020.
- Age Relaxation for candidates with Apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act, 1961- Actual period, subject to maximum 24 months.
- The age relaxation for SC, ST & OBC (NCL) of Uttar Pradesh domicile- 5 years.
- Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen who had served a minimum of 5 years in the Armed Forces of India (Completed service years + Three years) – Maximum 15 years.
- Dependents of freedom fighters will have an age relaxation for 5 years.
- Age relaxation for Physically Handicapped (OA/OL/PB/PD only)- 15 years

Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electrical:
To apply for UPPCL JE recruitment 2020, a candidate must have passed
- Three years Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering from the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, with the State Government recognition.
- “Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt of India”.
- Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering from any of the Universities in India incorporated by an Act of the Central/State legislature
Note: Diploma received through Distance Learning Education will not be eligible.
Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electronics / Telecommunication:
To apply for UPPCL JE recruitment 2020, a candidate must have passed
- Three years Diploma examination in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering from the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, with the State Government recognition.
- “Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt of India”.

The UPPCL JE recruitment 2020 selection process involves a Computer-based test (CBT) and document verification.
- Total marks for the test – 200 marks.
- Time duration- 3 hrs.
- Diploma level Engineering branch – 150 questions.
- General knowledge/awareness – 20 questions.
- Reasoning – 20 questions.
- General Hindi – 10 questions.
- Negative mark of each wrong answer – 0.25.
